THE winner of the Guardian competition It’s My Time, will finally have the chance to share her talents with the world when her brand new single is released at the end of this month.

Victoria-Jane Dougall, aged 22 and a receptionist from Knutsford, will be competing for a place in the music charts and the chance to gain national recognition when her single Caught in the Crossfire will be available to buy on iTunes on Monday, April 25th.

Victoria was crowned overall winner of the competition after a close final in March, which saw the public’s top five sing twice for the audience and judges votes.

After a tie break, Victoria clinched the title and the prize of recording her own single – written specifically for the competition by renowned producer Paul Wilkes.

Any profits made from the release will be donated to The Christie Hospital.
