Knutsford 'Royal' May Queen 2011

Jessica Pottie was crowned 2011 Knutsford ‘Royal’ May Queen on Saturday (7th May) on a day full of sunshine throughout.  The event was witnessed by town folks in their  thousands as they made their way to the town on what first seemed to be a rather damp affair.  No need to have worried though.  As the carnival began to get ready the sun started to smile and it continued to beam until just after the crowning.
