House for sale at £799,500 with Gascoine Halman, Knutsford

The average house price in Knutsford is £240,000, rising to £290,000 in the surrounding rural areas. This compares with the national average of £166,769 according to the Land Registry. Andrew Rogers, manager of the Knutsford branch of estate agent Gascoigne Halman, says the bulk of properties he sells go for around £600,000. Furthermore, CPPHT calculates you need to earn about £81,000 a year to rent a four-bedroom house in Knutsford, where 8 per cent of the locals are private tenants.
