It has recently been reported in the Knutsford Guardian that Knutsford’s popular Gang Show has been saved for 2011 after production staff faced a two-month crisis trying to find a venue.

The paper quite rightly stated the show is an institution in the town and earlier this month looked as if it wouldn’t be going ahead.

Organisers faced a battle to save it after Egerton Youth Club – which has been its home for the past two years – informed them they couldn’t hold the show this time around after lengthy negotiations.

And after being knocked back by Knutsford High School and with the Knutsford Civic Centre being booked out, it looked like the hundreds of children taking part would be left devastated.

But Mobberley Victory Hall has now stepped in and the show will take place from Tuesday, February 22, until Saturday, February 26.
