- Tatton Park - the park offers something for everyone along with over 100 events annually.
- The Gritstone Trail very hilly, with several long climbs and some steep but short ascents. Many stiles, including ladder stiles along the way. Surfaces vary but they may be rough, boggy or slippery, so sensible footwear is recommended.

- Tatton Garden Society one of Britain’s foremost botanic and horticultural societies, with its own 11 hectare (28 acre) arboretum and botanic site open to the public and which is one of Cheshire’s “Gardens of Distinction”
- The Knutsford Ornithological Society unusually for ornithological societies but this local group organise field trips for every month of the year

- Heyrose Golf Club set in beautiful parkland with ancient woodlands and many water features. Heyrose is not an ordinary golf club.

- Knutsford & District Motor Club a number of members are regular competitors in road rallies throughout the UK
- Knutsford Football Club the first team plays in the Cheshire League and the ‘A’ team appears in the Altrincham and District League.
- Knutsford Golf Club laid out in handsome woodlands on the edge of Tatton Park, Knutsford Golf Club offers a varied and challenging 10 hole course.
- Knutsford Hockey Club consists of three mens, two ladies and a junior team. They play at Knutsford Leisure Centre just off Westfield Drive.
- Knutsford Rugby Club a fantastic example of a community sports club, now in their seventh season
