WAITROSE is to host a recruitment day for its new store in Knutsford on Tuesday next week (April 26th) at the Cottons Hotel.

Anyone interested in 65 jobs being created is invited to go along.

The Waitrose personnel team will be on hand between 10am and 4pm to talk through the requirements for each role and the application process. Those interested can also apply online at www.waitrosejobs.com.

Waitrose is the food stores arm of the John Lewis Partnership. All employees of the retailer become partners in the Partnership, enjoying benefits including access to more than 5,000 learning courses available through the Partnership’s Learning Centre, a pension, bonuses, holiday and leisure facilities, clubs and societies, and education subsidies.

Just last month, Waitrose partners received 18% of their annual salary as a bonus in their March pay packet.

The store is due to open on June 9th and will occupy the former Blockbusters and Travelbag retail units in Princess Street.
